Combat Boots

Only 3 1/2 sizes to large. I kind of like them!

Rain Puddle

A couple weeks ago when I was hiding from Algebra... *ahem* I mean, taking advantage of the very nice rain puddle out in the yard.

Punkin!

Yummy Pumpkin Pie in the making!

Pepper

The first pepper from dad's garden, all ripe for the picking!

Some kind of Black eyed susan

I'm really not sure what these flowers are, they just looked so cute in mom's garden that I had to take a picture.

sly kitty

This cross-stitch has been hanging in our bathroom ever since we've moved here. But now It has been taken down due to the heavy construction that's been going on. That's one bold cat!

A Quilt A Day

Lion quilt.
Noah's Ark Quilt
Butterfly Quilt

My favorite things to snuggle with on cold winter nights. The lion quilt was made by my great-gramma and finished by my great-aunt Betty. Aunt Betty made my Noah quilt, and the butterfly quilt was made by the ladies on my mom's stitching group. They made all of us kids quilts.

Betsy

This is Betsy our very friendly bantam chicken. Gabe named her after me when he was little.

Zucchini Bread

Here is a luscious picture of the cinnamon smelling fresh Zucchini Bread. Er, you might need to use your imagination...

Tofu

What most people find gross, I LOVE! Although, the tofu I was just eating wasn't this fancy.

Words...

The lyrics to the song I sang in church on Sunday. Jesus Is: Jaci Velasquez.

Hornets

Something I absolutely 1000% dislike, but there so happens to be two nests on my bunny mansion. The NERVE of those hornets! I DO hope dad picked up more hornet spray before he left.

Latte!

What Your Latte Says About You

You don't treat yourself very often. You find that indulging doesn't jibe with your very disciplined life.
You can be quite silly at times, but you know when to buckle down and be serious.
Intense and energetic, you aren't completely happy unless you are bouncing off the walls.
You're addicted to caffeine. There's no denying it.
You are a child at heart, and you don't ever miss the opportunity to do something playful.
You are sophisticated and daring, but you are never snobby.

Big Diesel!

Big Diesel, as Gabe named him at 3 years of age after Diesel 10 from Thomas the Tank Engine; Is our head rooster. He is very friendly and has never been aggressive towards any of us. All the the roosters we currently own are very docile as well.

A Plethora of subjects

Blackie, dad's cellphone, dads glasses, moms cute candle lamp, and the-heart-box-that-is-going-into-the-giveaway-box.

Elegance

I LOVE the victorian era (minus the corsets that is, although, corset style tops are awfully pretty...ok, ok, back to the original subject!) the full dresses, gloves, hats ect. The gorgeous hat belongs to my gramma, and the gloves are moms but she lets me use them.

Arabesque In Pink

This is my cross-stitch project that I've been working on for 2 1/2 years. One would think it should be done by now but, alas no!

Paper Binder

Here is my nicely (at the moment) organized scrapbook paper binder. Somehow I ended up with tons of pink paper and very little of any other colors.

My Mommy

Here is a picture of my mommy taken on our way up to Reid State Park. I like this picture.

Double Trouble

Dan-A-Roo and Gabey playing on the trampoline.

Introducing our Guest

This is Blackie, our guest from Jodi's family from the SHS list. All of you ladies reading this all know who she is. Blackie has been to Greenland with dad twice and she also came with us to Maine. She is right now posing on top of my piano music on our way up to the store at the campground. They have a piano up there-very out of tune but a piano no less.

Jane Austen: Amateur Detective

This week at the library I stumbled upon this great new mystery series. They are about Jane Austen solving mysteries interspersed throughout her writing career. Such as, with this book, she is just now getting the framework for writing "Emma." I'll post a book review when I'm done on Musical Mermaid.

I have a little shadow...

Hannah is the rather quiet one in the house. She will just sit and play with her barbies, teddy, or look at books while the other kids are running around through the house. She also likes to shadow me through the house, usually saying "what are you doing? can I help? Are you making food??"

Pink Foot!

There are many things that have the word "pink" in them. Here are a few!

Pink Panther

Pink Floyd

P!nk Herself

Pink Lemonade

The Pink Spiders

And last but not least, pink foot!

And, just What is pink foot? You ask...Pink foot is a rare case indeed. It happens when one spills half a bottle of pink nailpolish onto ones foot. Also, resulting in pink rug and floor as well! To avoid contracting this awful disease, please paint nails either outside or on newspaper. Lest, oh no! we end up with blue, purple, or neon orange foot!

The Garden Fence

I'm not really sure how this picture came about. Probably when I was snapping shots of the orange and white wonder. It is pretty though, those orange flowers peeking through make a nice touch.

I AM the king of the jungle er, yard

His Royal always on the move.

I'm rather hungry, you have food for me...right?

Two Bunnies

Bugsy
Snowball

I have three bunnies. Snowball, Bugsy, and Latte. Latte is very shy and doesn't like his cage door to be open so I was unable to snap a shot of him. Snowball is a little skittish but if you are quiet he will behave. Bugsy, on the other hand will pose for almost anyone. I love my bunnies!
