Jesus Will Still Be There. Yes He Will!

This is the song that I sang in church this Sunday. I was pretty nervous as I was standing up and waiting to sing but Yes, he will still be there. So by the time I was walking out to sing my fear and "I want to be home hiding underneath my quilt with my stuffed animals because I am introvert and have trouble doing this" Was not there anymore.

Random Desperation Photo

Walmart Purchase

I really needed a picture to post so short of posting my other purchase (which was *ahem* two new brassiers) my face stuff seemed better. This stuff is so much nicer than the one I had been using, the cleansers smelled really funny.

Puddle Duck Xing

Puddle Duck 1
Puddle Duck 2
We often see these ducks on the side of the road during the spring. On both sides of the road about 1/4 mile up there is good sized bodies of water. One is an actual brook while the other is just a long ditch Summer seems to be a little too warm for them to be happy in the ditch so they migrate into the pond behind the field. When I go out for a run they often run with me; AWAY from me that is.

Footprints

Tracks of a small girl who is silly enough to go out in freezing rain

I really lack common sense sometimes, and this was one of those times. It was slushy/freezing rain out but I really wanted to march out in it. Oh, and did I mention my rubber boot had a hole in the back? But it turned into a neat photo in the flooded back yard.

Tag Sale Find

Music Box
One day when mom, gramma, and I were out tag saleing mom spotted this near the end of the run. I had been wanting a music box for a while so this was a great find! It plays Laura's (?) theme from Docter Zhivago. I keep my earrings in it, or should I say try to. Mom often comes into my room and picks 3-4 pairs minimum off the floor in front of my dresser. Plant Reflection

Sorry it has been 5 days, I'm not keeping up my end of the challenge!

Betta Plant

Last night while dad was painting he had moved mom's desk out. The Betta tank/jar is on top of there and as the light was just right it cast a shadow. It would make a pretty painting given a few touches to give it more depth.

Jewelry Box

My great grandmother gave me this beautiful jewelry box. I can remember how excited I was to get this and how nervous (and still am) that I'm going to break it. I really need to dust the top off...

Squirrel Before Breakfast

Munch Munch
Hey! who's taking my picture
Hmmm... escape the paparazzi or finish breakfast first?

A cute little red squirrel was helping himself to a small smackerel outside this morning. He was just so cute and the photo-op so perfect that I could not resist interupting his meal for a few photos. He declined to sign any autographs stating he was "in a hurry, and could I please leave so he could finish breakfast."

For Kathy

Skirt mom and I are working on. WITH matching scrunchie!
Mini skirt turned stylish purse
The punk pink hawaiian skirt is still in the making but it still looks cute. We found this great pattern that most of my hand made skirts are made from. The bag, well it's a long story. I originally bought this at Hot Topic and it um kind of looked longer in the store. Plus I was planning on wearing leggins with this, mom said absolutely not. So instead of giving it away (I really really loved this skirt) it was converted into a purse.
