The popcorn maker

Our trusty popcorn maker, I do not know how we could live with out it. We take it camping, it's quick to pop, and is relatively quiet...in case of a midnight snack (NOT that i've ever tried that though...um...)
Laptop

This is my laptop, It is mostly for school (DIVE or science ect.) but I also use the word processer, play Nancy Drew ( Embarrassed) and occasionally pop in some CD's with extra enhanced features. We got this from a friend on ours, they were gracious enough to keep us in mind when they came across it.

All the girls games right in a row

Some cutesy girly games have made their way into the game collection over the past few months. We used to have a "Pretty Pretty Princess" when I was little but it lost most of the pieces and sat on the crown! Oops... so we bought a new one on vacation this year. Dad used to play with me, he called it "Pretty Pretty Pirate." Dad was (and still is) such a good dad. The other two are pretty simple and straight forward, Hannah prefers the Strawberry Shortcake-of course it has to be food!

The New and Improved Rack
Dad lowered a rack in the hallway this weekend for the little kids jackets. Dan was so pleased with himself that he could put his jacket away. Oops, Rachel hung hers upsidedown!

Aaron Shust
Audio Adrenaline

A really great concert was put on by Mercy Me, Audio Adrenaline, and Aaron Shust. Just me and Mom went with some people from the church. AA is set to break-up and this is their last tour so it was great to see them. The Bass Player on the right had this huge mohawk, I wish I had a better picture. He gave a very nice speech at the end, in all total honesty it is great to see some rockers (yes they ARE Christian but fewer and fewer are...) giving all the thanks and glory to Christ. Without him they are nothing, the stage is solely HIS and no one elsea. They are just his hands and feet, speaking of which the guys have started an Orphanage in Hatit called "the hands and feet project" www.handsandfeetproject.org. Those babies are precious!

A Great Book and One Re-printing

Re-Issue WITH "truth or bare quizzes"
Original the copy I have
This is an awesome book on modesty that is tactfully written and not to preachy. It clearly illustrates the quality of modesty and why modesty (heart, mind, and then body) is so important to God. I have the original copy but I'm now wishing I had waited because of the "truth or bare" quizzes. A really great read all around, I really helped me to see the need for this and how vital it really is. Dannah's Webpage is here Pure Freedom Also I'm trying to get a link up to someplace to purchase but I'm not having any sucess...

What Did You DO!!!???!!

Dan Laments his torn Underwear
When I was getting Dan ready for bed I noticed one pair of his underwear was kind of ratty. So I asked mom if I could tear it and throw it away, Dan has more clothes/underwear that any of us. Hoo boy did he not like that! He trotted over to the trash can and said "rip no" and was quite upset about the whole matter. He kept trying to put it back together and everything, finally after some coaxing he put it back and went about his going to bed routine.

Nancy Drew
Nancy Drew computer games are the best things since chocolate, purses, shoes, and books. The Creature of Kapu Cave is the latest one, I just finished it. The nice thing about Mysteries 13 + are that Frank and Joe Hardy can help you. The next one I plan on purchasing are The Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake.

Princess Crowns II

Hannah Banana
Rachel

Rachel originally bought these on sale at the Parent Teacher store, but since there was really no point in having two crowns she decided to share one with Hannah. Hmmm she was kind of smiling funny...

Mama's Boots
These are my beloved rubber boo...well ok in reality the are mom's boots. Have been mom's boots ever since I started wearing them. One now has a huge hole in the heel and they're 1 1/2 sizes to small but I still wear them. Mom is always saying "I'm SOOO glad I got alot of wear out of them." Once or twice when we were camping she wore them but that's it.

All of us usually get a smalll something, such as one year dad got me a balloon, lego set(s), flowers, stickers. that kind of stuff. This year I wanted makeup, so while we were in Walmart the other day we bought makeup. Plus we're having Chines Food for dinner!

Pure Dan

I forget who said this but if you have the camera out the kids will do anything (even naughty things!) to get on film. Sooo here is Dan with two clean cups using them for elephant ears...or something...not sure.

The Woody Mart

Another picture from our vist to a friends house, this is not ours. Dad made the kids the "woody mart" for Christmas, J was so thrilled to show it to me. Ya know, it has a REAL cash register and a real (disabled) pay phone probably from Nana's restarant. I think the care bears on top are a really cute touch. Just a quick side note, near the end of the visit the kids wanted to put on a video. They went downstairs and popped it in, while L stayed upstairs and sang all the DVD's in the case. "care bears, strawberry shortcake, what this? oh Chocolate factory, bob the builder, what this? I don't know, wizard of OZ, lalalala" She is such a funny little girl.

Corner.

This is a corner of a friend of ours house; in her kitchen to be exact. We went over to her house today for a visit. She has kids who almost match our kids, so it is always really fun to go over there. This is such a cute picture.

A gift from my moms' secret sister. Mom doesn't care to much for mint so I have to sacrifice and *sigh* eat the minty ones. I think mint brownies are the best of things with mint in them.

My Music!
This is my favorite thing to do-is listen to music. I LOVE music! I also (if you can read it) put a list in of CD's that should Smile be in my collection but have not made it there yet. I like hard rock, emo, CCM, and whatever else strikes my fancy. I try to keep it all Christian but some CD's I have purchased on account of them being pretty clean or downloaded certain tracks that are decent. Downloads are only $0.88 at WM.com!
