Kids in the snow

Well you all know Dan, but the two other boys in the picture are two of Jonathan's older brothers. Kenndy is first on the left and Ben is next to him. Ben is Filipino and Kenndy is from Haiti.

Jonathan

Jonathan is this really cute baby. He is adopted from Guatamala by some friends of ours.

We went over today to play and I got to hold him. Jonathan is 1 and is scooting around the house like crazy. Here his fascination is the empty plastic cherry tomato case.

Normally I only post one picture but I decided to show the contrast between using the Sport mode to try and take a picture outside the van window as its moving. Then actually stopping and focusing in on a view. It was truly gorgeous at the top of ********* Mountain

My kitty

This is my wonderful cat named Yowsie. He showed up at the house around 6 years ago and has hung around since then. I often wonder if he likes us or just is here for the food. Sometimes he eats mama's birds but he also keeps the rat/mouse/chipmunk/mole population down. Here he is on top of the waterer for the bird.

My Shoes

These are my humble shoe collection. To make it into my collection they need to be black and at least 2 1/2 inch heels. Or whatever strikes my fancy at the time; and/or at the thrift store for a good deal. Plus a good sale a Payless isn't bad either...I confess My black sandals 2nd from the left have 3 in heels.

Italian Charm Bracelet

I love Italian Charm Bracelets. Mom and I each received one for Christmas a couple years ago and it has since then taken off. We have found that our Claires carries quite a large selection. My favorites are the Snow Bunny, dangly blue butterfly and Tinkerbelle.

Snowy Swingset

This swingset we put in right after we moved here. In the duration of 10 years it has seen 5 children and still held together.

Princess Bess

Rachel and Hannah received "princess" crowns for their plane day. Of COURSE big sister had to snag a turn with it.
