Directions to Heart mirror.

Directions. Buy a one dollar wooden object from craft store slap some paint on it and then paint flowers on it. Promptly display. No, LOL

The frame itself comes from our local AC Moore. For a $1 they have a large assortment of unpainted wooden objects. Ornaments, plaques, and I even saw a purse mirror next to the bin with the heart mirror in it!

For paint I use Anitas Acrylic Craft Paint and Delta Ceramcoat. Delta has the most different colors and is also very inexspensive. Americana is nice but it is more exspensive and the colors are more muted.
The mirror comes apart into three pieces. Front, back and the mirror itself. The pieces tend to need some minor sanding down especially on the front.

Three medium coats of paint cover the piece very well and when that dries it's time for the fun to begin! I painted the heart free-hand this time but there are some absolutly gorgeous stencils out there. Scrapbooking stencils for letters maybe....
