For Kathy

Skirt mom and I are working on. WITH matching scrunchie!
Mini skirt turned stylish purse
The punk pink hawaiian skirt is still in the making but it still looks cute. We found this great pattern that most of my hand made skirts are made from. The bag, well it's a long story. I originally bought this at Hot Topic and it um kind of looked longer in the store. Plus I was planning on wearing leggins with this, mom said absolutely not. So instead of giving it away (I really really loved this skirt) it was converted into a purse.

Bess, what a unique idea for solving the "too short skirt" problem! What an adorable purse! Great job. (BTW, I'm now having the "appropriate/not appropriate" clothing discussions with my 12 dd, so you are not alone! She'll be returning a halter-top dress that she bought without me "for church, Mom" - over my dead body!)

What a great skirt! I love it. Thanks for taking a picture and posting it. The purse is awesome! Sorry it was too short to wear. Great way to keep the skirt and still get to use it. Probably cuter this way. :)
