Yes, this is a tree. We have about 500 trees around us in the yard and in the backyard. But THIS tree is truly annoying. Sure, it gives shade on the pool at certain times of the day. But in order to give shade it feels entitled to drop its leaves directly into the pool on any given occasion.

ugh... that would be a problem... all of our cottonwood trees are exactly why I'm not at all interested in getting a swimming pool for our yard. I have a hard enough time keeping the yard and flowers cleaned up after the cotton flies.
